Rodney McGruder is working on his shooting mechanics with Heat shooting coach Rob Fodor.
These reports are a dime a dozen in the offseason but we get to talk about McGruder so here goes. He started 65 games last season and averaged 27 mpg, 6.7 points, 3.5 boards, 1.8 assists, 0.2 blocks, 0.6 steals and 1.0 treys while shooting 40.7 percent from the field and 32.5 percent from deep. Those numbers are good for a wack fantasy league and along with his shooting improving he’ll need to find a way to diversify his game to include more non 3-pointers to level out the field goal percentage.
