• Clippers rookie Sindarius Thornwell is finding his comfort zone with the Clippers, according to LA Times.

With Danilo Gallinari (sprained left foot) and guard Austin Rivers (strained right glute) both out of action, the need for Thornwell to absorb as much as he can as quickly as he can has accelerated. Doc Rivers said that he liked what the rookie has accomplished so far in three games and that the urgency of needing him for significant minutes doesn’t worry him. After playing well in Las Vegas Summer League, averaging 14.3 points, 3.5 rebounds and 1.3 assists on 38.5 percent shooting in four games, the rookie seems to be slowly earning the trust of the coaching staff. Owners in very deep leagues should keep him on the radar as injuries might force him into action earlier than anticipated.
