The Spurs officially re-signed Rudy Gay, but terms of the contract were not announced.
Shams reported last week that the deal would be for one-year at $10 million for Gay. The forward played in 57 games for the Spurs last season and averaged 11.5 points, 5.1 boards and 1.3 assists in 21.6 minutes per game. The 12-year veteran also shot a career high 47.1 percent from the field. He was coming off an Achilles injury last year, but now with another year of health under his belt and Kawhi Leonard potentially on the move, there is a good chance for increased playing time and value in 2018. The former eighth overall pick is a good target in the middle rounds for scoring and rebounding.
