• Rudy Gay
    F, San Antonio Spurs

Rudy Gay will decline his player option with the Spurs and test free agency this summer.

Gay passed up more money from the Kings this time a year ago to latch on in San Antonio, where he expected to be part of a team that went deep into the playoffs. It sounds like Gay wants to win more than anything else at this point and with all the Kawhi Leonard turmoil going on it's not too shocking that he'll try and hitch his wagon to a team with a more predictable future right now. Gay was set to make $8.8 million with the Spurs next season. More of a complementary player at this point, expect Gay to take a salary cut if he signs with a serious contender and don't consider him outside of the very late rounds in fantasy.
