• Rudy Gobert led the Jazz in scoring in Wednesday’s 106-96 win, shooting 7-of-9 from the field and 4-of-4 from the line to post 18 points with 10 rebounds, a block and an uncharacteristic six turnovers.

A turnover spike was likely to come with Gobert set to do more than hit hooks and catch lobs this season, but tonight’s half dozen was a bit much. The numbers elsewhere were good, and the perfect mark from the charity stripe was a nice bonus. The blocks will come, and the Stifle Tower is looking like an automatic double-double whenever he laces ’em up.
