• Rui Hachimura
    PF, Washington Wizards

When head coach Scott Brooks was asked about Rui Hachimura's chances of starting opening night, he replied, "It's probably leaning that way."

This is about as close to an affirmative as we are going to get before the Wizards release the starting lineup for there first regular season game on October 23. Hachimura has been able to deliver numbers throughout the preseason and is looking like a roster worthy asset in standard fantasy leagues as a rookie. He is also getting another preseason start vs. the Sixers on Friday.

  • Ricky Rubio
    PG, Phoenix Suns

Ricky Rubio (back spasms) has been ruled out of Thursday's game against the Pelicans.

Rubio has been struggling with this back issue since missing Monday's game. With Rubio inactive, Tyler Johnson will start in his place. Devin Booker will be a primary ball handler and we'll see some extra run out of Jevon Carter.

  • Draymond Green
    PF, Golden State Warriors

Draymond Green is questionable for Friday's game against Utah with a sore right heel.

This is the same issue that cost Green the game on Wednesday. The Ky Bowman hype train rolls on and the Warriors have one foot on the golf course at this point it seems.

  • Trevor Ariza
    SF, Sacramento Kings

Trevor Ariza did not travel with the team on their current road trip and will be out against the Nets on Friday as a result.

It is unclear as to why Ariza didn't travel with the team but it is possible that something is going on with his role within the rotation. Ariza is currently playing only 20.6 minutes per game, the lowest mark since the 2007-08 season.

  • Aaron Gordon
    PF, Orlando Magic

Aaron Gordon's MRI revealed that he suffered a right ankle contusion and his return will depend on how he responds to treatment.

Gordon got away from Wednesday's game without suffering a severe ankle injury. It is unclear how many games he will be forced to miss but he has already been ruled out of Saturday's contest vs. the Pacers. Al-Farouq Aminu, Khem Birch and Mo Bamba will see additional time with Gordon and Nikola Vučević (ankle) ruled out.

  • Aaron Gordon
    PF, Orlando Magic

Aaron Gordon will not play on Saturday vs. the Pacers due to a right ankle contusion he suffered during Wednesday's game.

Gordon's diagnosis seems to be slightly more positive than teammate Nikola Vučević but he will still be forced to miss time as a result. It is unclear at this point what his timetable to return will be. This is a situation to monitor if Gordon is on your fantasy team. Expect Al-Farouq Aminu, Mo Bamba and Khem Birch to see extra time during his absence.

  • Hassan Whiteside
    C, Portland Trail Blazers

Hassan Whiteside has been downgraded to out for Thursday's contest vs. the Bucks.

The Blazers will be in desperate need of frontcourt help with Whiteside, Zach Collins and Jusuf Nurkić all ruled out. Nassir Little, Skal Labissiere, Anthony Tolliver, Mario Hezonja and Carmelo Anthony could all see extra minutes as a result while Little is most likely their best defensive big left. Giannis Antetokounmpo and Brook Lopez could have great fantasy lines against this frontcourt.

  • Anfernee Simons
    SG, Portland Trail Blazers

Anfernee Simons will play Thursday vs. the Bucks after previously being listed as questionable with a left ankle injury.

With Damian Lillard ruled out, Simons will see an increased role within the offense and could be an interesting DFS play depending on his price tag. He doesn't contribute too much outside of scoring categories but he has shown that he can put the ball in the hoop.

  • Nikola Vucevic
    C, Orlando Magic

Nikola Vučević had an MRI done that revealed a right lateral ankle sprain and he will be re-evaluated in 7-10 days.

It was previously reported that Nikola would miss a minimum of four weeks which is still true. This report gives us more information regarding the injury. The Magic will re-evaluate in 7-10 days to see how the initial recovery goes and could update his timetable as a result. Expect Vuč to miss at least the next four weeks.

  • Brandon Knight
    PG, Cleveland Cavaliers

Brandon Knight (right ankle sprain) is probable to face the Mavs on Friday.

Knight is not a consistent part of the rotation as he has only played in five out of their 14 games so far this season. He is not currently on the fantasy radar with the exception of 30-team leagues.

  • Danuel House
    PF, Houston Rockets

Danuel House (sore left shoulder) is officially listed as questionable on the official NBA Injury Report ahead of Friday's contest against the Clippers.

It was reported earlier on Thursday that House was doubtful for Friday's game so the fact that he is now being listed as questionable is a positive indicator for his chances of playing. However, the Rockets did recently call up Gary Clark from the G League so he is truly questionable for this contest. Continue to monitor as there will be more information that will come out ahead of tip-off.
