• Kawhi Leonard
    SF, San Antonio Spurs

The latest rumors regarding Spurs small forward Kawhi Leonard say the Lakers will "go in hard" for the superstar this offseason.

Leonard has had an interesting season that is leading to a potential separation with San Antonio. After missing most of the season with a quad injury, Leonard is still not giving updates on his return and is not expected to play in the playoffs. No one, except Leonard, truly knows what is going on but the Los Angeles native is a candidate to be traded this Summer. The Lakers are rumored to be interested in Leonard and have the combination of young assets with cap space to acquire Leonard and another superstar. With Paul George and LeBron James expected to enter the free agent market this summer, the Lakers look like they have a good shot to make a quick rebuild. Former Lakers coach Byron Scott even believes they will bring in both James and Leonard, a duo that no one in the West wants to see.
