• Russell Westbrook
    PG, Houston Rockets

Russell Westbrook bounced back on Wednesday from his poor performance in the prior game with 20 points (9-of-20 FG, 2-of-2 FT), nine rebounds, two assists and only two turnovers to send the Rockets on to the second round.

Westbrook’s offense was crucial in this game as James Harden struggled shooting the ball throughout. Where Harden was seemingly supressed by Lu Dort’s defense, Westbrook was able to blow by him and get the Rockets the easy points they needed around the rim. The team claimed Westbrook would be on a minutes limit in this game, but they threw that out the window with the game so close in the fourth. The Rockets may limit him again in Game 1 against the Lakers, but it’s clear Westbrook is back in rhythm after a couple rough games.
