Russell Westbrook finished his 2018 on a high note in Monday's 122-102 win over the Mavs, going 13-of-24 from the field and 6-of-6 from the line to finish with 32 points, 11 rebounds, 11 assists and four steals.
Westbrook was highly critical of his performance in Sunday's 4-for-22 outing and responded rather nicely tonight. One of the big notes here is the solid free throw shooting, strangely enough, as Westbrook is being held to top-15/30 value (8/9-cat) thanks largely to a .621 mark from the line. If he can sort that out the rest of the way he should charge into the first-round conversation. The triple-doubles are to be expected, of course.
