Royce Young of ESPN reported that Russell Westbrook and Paul George worked out together for the first time on Monday in Los Angeles.
Apparently there were other members of the Thunder at the workout on UCLA campus but we’re here for the dynamic between these two alphas. It will be quite an adjustment for Russ and PG-13 to co-exist especially after last season’s MVP award sitting on Westbrook’s mantle. The usage rate was out of this world for The Brodie last season and will surely come down with George on the roster with a chance it will help his shooting efficiency which sat at 42.5 percent last season. George will likely see a lower usage rate as well and he will have the ball in his hands a lot less with Russ running the point. The first month of the season could be an adjustment but once the season gets rolling both players should enjoy top notch fantasy seasons projecting Westbrook easily within the top-10 and George in the top-25.
