Russell Westbrook plays 35 minutes in a loss to the Hawks on Monday, finishing with 46 points on 16-of-33 from the field to go along with 11-of-13 from the line, three 3-pointers, 11 boards, seven dimes, one steal and four turnovers.
No one should be surprised that there’s an extra gear Westbrook can shift to with Victor Oladipo out nursing his wrist injury. He was actually efficient from the field tonight, which has been anchoring his value as of late. Westbrook is just inside the top-20 on the season, which isn’t quite where owners want him. It’s hard to get on him for his 5.5 turnovers a game since he drops dimes all over the place to make up for it, but he can inch closer to his ADP if he fixes some of his shooting woes (42.6% on a whopping 24.1 attempts a game from the field).
