Russell Westbrook was at the center of everything in Tuesday's 128-110 win over the Clippers, shooting 13-of-25 for 32 points with four rebounds, eight assists, three steals, a block and a 3-pointer.
Westbrook doesn't have a truly insane line yet this year but he really hasn't missed a beat since coming back from his knee injury. There was a little exchanging of words in this one when Patrick Beverley dove for a loose ball after a whistle and ended up cutting Westbrook's legs out from under him but cooler heads prevailed. He and Bev also traded "rockabye baby" moves after hitting layups in this one and it's clear that the bad blood remains after Beverley took Westbrook's knees out in the 2013 playoffs. Not that Westbrook needs something else to motivate him, but that might be worth keeping in mind the next time these two teams face off.
