Ryan Anderson played 38 minutes in Sunday’s win but shot just 1-for-6, finishing with four points while corralling 12 rebounds and a steal.
If not for the rebounds, this would have been a total waste of time. Anderson turned into a three point specialist this season, failing to produce the same peripherals that made him a valuable fantasy commodity in New Orleans and while the trend reversed tonight we don’t have high hopes for him going forward. He’ll score more and board less but is an overhyped commodity, even in the shallow pools of playoff formats.
