• Ryan Anderson
    PF/C, Houston Rockets

Ryan Anderson (left ankle sprain) is unlikely to play in Game 1 on Sunday according to head coach Mark D'Antoni.

D'Antoni said that Anderson has been doing some on court work and will be dressed on Sunday however he doesn't think he is "quite ready for Sunday" and will be back "soon after." Anderson has been a disappointment since he joined Houston last season although you would think that a high-volume, three-point shooting center would be perfect for D'Antoni's system. He has fallen out of the 12-team conversation this year as his triples were down to 2.0 per game from 2.8 last season and doesn't provide much in other categories. This is the first time he has averaged under ten points per game since his second year in the league in 2009-10.
