Anderson participated fully in Thursday’s practice without any limitations and was at shootaround on Friday. He missed the previous six games but has not wasted any time. He has been in the gym training very hard and says he feels even better than he did before he was injured. Eric Gordon and Lou Williams may lose a few minutes and Troy Williams will probably fall out of the rotation with Anderson’s return. On a side note, Mike D’Antoni said he is considering resting some guys on the back-to-back on Sunday and Monday but he did not specify which players and for which day.
None of the three players recalled are expected to play on Friday. Onuaku has averaged a double-double with 1.2 steals and 1.6 blocks in the D-League this year but has appeared in only two games for the Rockets. Wiltjer is knocking down 3.7 triples per game in the D-League but has only appeared in 13 games for the Rockets. Taylor has averaged 21.0 points and 6.0 assists in the D-League but has appeared in only one Rockets game all year.
Ryan Anderson told the media he will play limited minutes tonight. #Rockets
