Taurean Prince got high praise from executives and players on Media Day and said he will demand to guard the best player whenever he is on the floor.
When asked about potential breakout players during Media Day, Sean Marks said that Taurean Prince, "had a really good summer." Spencer Dinwiddie said, "He’s a next level shooter. Probably right now second to Joe [Harris]." Prince himself said his goal is to solidify himself as a, true two-way player. He added that he played hurt the last 25-30 games of the season but now he is 100% healthy and that he is, "going to demand guarding every All-Star we play, every best player on the floor at every time, no matter the position." The minutes should be there for Prince as long as Kevin Durant is out and while he knocked down 2.2 triples per game last year, a slight increase in defensive stats would put him back in the top-100.
