Serge Ibaka fouled out in 31 minutes on Thursday, adding seven points, 11 rebounds, two blocks and a triple on 2-of-7 shooting.
While it’s obviously better to stay in the game, Ibaka spent two fouls pulling Giannis Antetokounmpo back down from the stratosphere. Aside from calming the building down, it also put some shaky shooters on the line – the Bucks spent a lot of time clanking free throws in this one. Ibaka was largely quiet on offense, which is a bit odd since he can alleviate so many of Toronto’s issues. They completely stopped moving the ball after building up a massive lead and Serge had his hands full with Greg Monroe down low. He’ll be chasing Kevin Love around against the Cavs in what should be a fun matchup.
