Serge Ibaka tied a team-high with 20 points in Wednesday’s victory, adding seven rebounds, two assists, two blocks and two threes while going 9-of-12 from the field across 26 minutes.
Ibaka was incredibly active early, bucking a recent trend of passive play. He typically does his work in short bursts but was a consistent threat throughout in this one, getting some buckets on open mid-range looks and even unleashing some crafty moves to get to the cup. While Ibaka’s performance has been up-and-down on the year, he’s a solid middle-round asset. Here’s hoping he keeps it up.
