Shams Charania of the Athletic is reporting that if the trade talks between the Lakers and the Pelicans pick up, Lonzo Ball's camp prefers for him to be moved to a third team that doesn't have an established point guard.
This is clearly an early sign of the domino effect that will follow a potential AD trade. There has already been a report about how the Pelicans would be seeking Ball, Kyle Kuzma, Ivica Zubac, as well as picks, in any return for Davis, so Lonzo’s camp (Lavar?) is making sure to proactively express their concern about where he lands. This is pure speculation at this point as Ball remains sidelined with an ankle sprain. In his second NBA season the former No. 2 overall pick is averaging 9.9 points, 5.4 assists and 5.3 rebounds and a change of scenery could boost his value if he finds himself in the right situation.
