• Monte Morris
    G, Denver Nuggets

The Nuggets signed guard Monte Morris to a three-year, $4.8 million deal Thursday.

Morris was the 51st selection in the 2017 draft and appeared in three games for the Nuggets last season. Morris was on a two-way deal last year that only gave him up to 45 days of service time in the NBA and will likely be with the team most of the season as the third string point guard. The Nuggets now have an open slot to sign someone to a two-way contract with Morris being upgraded to a full contract. Expect them add one more player on a two-way deal before the season starts.
