May 28, 2019, 9:28 amTyronn LueTeam, Cleveland Cavaliers
The Rockets and the Pelicans have pursued former Cavs championship coach Tyronn Lue as a lead assistant but Lue’s focus remains on head coaching.
One of the top coaches available on the market, Lue has had a couple of assistant coaching offers since being fired by the Cavs in October of 2018 and rejecting the Lakers coaching job this offseason. The Rockets are working to add to their staff following the departures of assistant coaches Jeff Bzdelik, Mitch Vanya and Roy Rogers, player development assistant Irv Roland and video coordinator John Cho. Lue meanwhile has history working with Pelicans head coach Alvin Gentry and executive Vice President David Griffin as he was an assistant coach with Gentry on Doc Rivers’ staff with the Clippers, and he was Griffin’s head coach in Cleveland.

February 28, 2020, 10:32 pmMalik BeasleySG, Minnesota Timberwolves
Malik Beasley had 17 points and four rebounds in Friday's loss to the Magic in 34 minutes.
Beasley had been great in every game he had suited up for the Wolves until this one, and he struggled with his shot a bit. He ended up going 7-for-18 FG (3-for-9 3PT) and did not make it to the free throw line. Expect him to bounce back on Sunday against the Mavs.
February 28, 2020, 10:25 pmAaron GordonPF, Orlando Magic
Aaron Gordon recorded his first career triple-double in Friday's 136-125 victory over the Wolves, finishing with 17 points, 11 rebounds, 12 assists and two blocks in 41 minutes of floor time.
Gordon was stuffing the stat sheet on Friday and played 40+ minutes for the third straight game. About the only thing he struggled with was his shot from deep, going 1-for-6 on threes. Keep him entrenched in fantasy lineups the rest of the way with the Magic fighting for a spot in the playoffs.
February 28, 2020, 10:22 pmJoe HarrisSF, Brooklyn Nets
Joe Harris tweaked his ankle in Friday's game, but was able to return to posst 18 points on 7-of-16 shooting, with three triples, three rebounds and three assists in 29 minutes.
While Harris was deemed OK to return to the game, it'd be wise to check for updates in case his ankle swells up overnight. While he's healthy, Harris should remain a steady source of efficient points and threes.
February 28, 2020, 10:19 pmSpencer DinwiddiePG, Brooklyn Nets
Spencer Dinwiddie came out and played hard on Friday with 24 opints (6-of-16 FGs, 8-of-8 FTs), one rebound, 13 assists, four triples and one steal but the Nets still wound up falling to the Hawks 118-141.
The blowout loss was a tough pill for Dinwiddie and the Nets to swallow, however, regardless of what the end-game scores reflect, fantasy owners can count on Dinwiddie for some massive lines ROS as he quarterbacks the Nets to what hopefully should be another playoff appearance.
February 28, 2020, 10:18 pmNikola VucevicC, Orlando Magic
Nikola Vucevic had a nice line in Friday's win over the Wolves, going for 27 points, 10 rebounds and five assists in 34 minutes.
This is a pretty customary line for Vuc, and his top-20 ranking is indicative of his fluid production on a nightly basis. He provides next to nothing in terms of defensive stats but is so thorough in every other department. He's even shooting nearly 80% from the stripe. Let him take you into the fantasy playoffs and beyond.
February 28, 2020, 10:14 pmGarrett TempleSG, Brooklyn Nets
Garrett Temple was the most productive Nets reserve on Friday, packing a punch with 16 points on 6-of-13 shooting, four 3s, five boards, three assists, two steals and two blocks in 30 minutes.
Temple has been sneaky-good as of late, turning in top-50 value over the last week. We're talking ahead of some bigger names like Donovan Mitchell and LeBron James. Still, the smaller size of games might be deceiving, if you decide to go with that argument. However, the trend is definitely undeniable, making Temple worth owning in standard leagues while his hot streak is still cooking.
February 28, 2020, 10:12 pmCameron JohnsonSF, Phoenix Suns
Cameron Johnson (upper body) has returned to the floor Friday against the Pistons.
He went down hard and had to make a trip to the locker room, but returned to the game before halftime. Johnson took the final heave before the buzzer and looks to be fine moving forward.
February 28, 2020, 10:09 pmMarkelle FultzPG, Orlando Magic
Markelle Fultz had 14 points, 7 assists, three rebounds and three turnovers in a victory over the Wolves on Friday.
Fultz has slowed down considerably over the past two weeks but still ranks in the top-150 on the season overall. He definitely could be a drop in shallower leagues, especially if your fantasy playoffs are right around the corner. If you have a glaring need or are fighting for playoff position, Fultz would be a cut candidate.
February 28, 2020, 10:04 pmKevin HuerterSG, Atlanta Hawks
Kevin Huerter (left adductor) managed to play well on Friday, logging 33 minutes and posting 15 point on 6-of-10 shooting with three treys, four boards, three assists and one block.
Obviously, the biggest takeaway tonight is Huerter's minutes, showing that he's healthy enough to take on a full work load and that he's able to produce up to his par. Owners can confidently keep him locked into their active lineups.
February 28, 2020, 10:02 pmTerrence RossSG, Orlando Magic
Terrence Ross had a big game on Friday evening vs. the Wolves, putting up 33 points, five rebounds, three assists and two steals in 34 minutes of action.
He was on fire tonight from beyond the arc, going a cool 7-for-15 from deep. Ross took a total of 25 shots tonight, which is even a lot for him. He's been averaging close to 30 minutes a night over the past two months and has provided top-125 value on the season on a per game basis. Ross is a usable asset almost everywhere.
