Shane Larkin was a surprise addition to the rotation on Wednesday and produced 14 points, two triples, two steals and a block on a perfect 6-of-6 shooting while Marcus Smart shot 1-for-6 in 34 minutes but provided nine assists, two steals and two blocks.
Larkin did some damage in 18 minutes and it was a shock to see him at all considering Boston’s guards were at full strength. Consider this a matchup special against the rangy Nuggets, and although he was a difference-maker tonight but isn’t on the fantasy radar until injuries strike. Smart is a woeful shooter but has the peripheral numbers to churn out reliable low-end value. He should be owned in standard leagues as someone who can provide a nice boost in threes and assists.
