Shane Larkin had a marvelous, multi-faceted performance on Thursday night, helping lead the Nets to an improbable win over the Cavs with a 16-point, seven assist effort.
Larkin didn’t record a steal, which is unusual, but he shot 7-for-10 from the field and played with a measure of confidence. Kyrie Irving’s relaxing defense can get partial credit, but this is a great sign for Larkin’s end-of-season outlook. With a five game week on the horizon, gamers could do a heck of a lot worse than Larkin. As expected, Sergey Karasev’s starting lineup debut was less meaty – three points and four boards in 18 minutes.
