Frank Ntilikina played 33 minutes on Friday night in another start at shooting guard but did pretty much nothing, scoring two points with three rebounds and three assists.
More troubling is that Ntilikina took just four shots despite tying for the team lead in playing time. While the position switch isn’t the cause of his lackluster performance in the season’s home stretch, it’s fair to say that it hasn’t helped him any. The Knicks’ former point guard of the future isn’t a fantasy option despite some mid-season optimism.
