Despite having two of the top-10 fantasy players on their roster, the Pelicans have struggled considerably since acquiring DeMarcus Cousins from the Kings, and it’s mostly due to poor shooting from downtown.
You can’t blame Boogie for this, but the Pelicans have gone 2-5 since the trade and only one of those wins came with him in the lineup. He sat out one game due to suspension and the Pelicans won that one. The Pelicans have hit only 30.1 percent of their three-point attempts since the All Star break. They recently signed Jordan Crawford to give them some scoring punch and he provided immediate dividends, finishing with 19 points in 20 minutes off the bench on Monday night. Keep an eye on Crawford, he could be the lone option the Pelicans have from the three-point line.
