Dwyane Wade was one of the few Cavs to make a positive impact on Sunday, scoring 25 points to go with 11 rebounds, six dimes and a block in 32 minutes off the bench.
Cleveland’s bench had to keep them close in this one, and Wade was a plus-23 on the night. The Cavs were just bleeding points when Derrick Rose (minus-27) and Jae Crowder (minus-24) were out there, and they played just 20 and 23 minutes, respectively. Wade has fallen flat on his face from a fantasy perspective this year and hasn’t been worth owning in standard leagues. He can still produce top-75 numbers when things are going right, and while this is obviously not the norm he should be better than he was at the start of the year. Pick him up if you’d like after this one, but it’s just as fine to wait for a second productive game before making a move.
