Skal Labissiere started in place of Zach Randolph (oral surgery) on Wednesday and posted 12 points and 10 rebounds while also committing five turnovers.
It’s surprising to see Labissiere held off the rest of the stat sheet, as he boasts a nice all-around game and will usually contribute in at least one defensive category. He logged 33 minutes tonight and will do damage if that workload holds up, but we’re skeptical that he’ll continue to start when Randolph returns. Labissiere remains an excellent long-term play, however, as the Kings seem likely to give him a full plate in the second half of the year.
