Nets coach Kenny Atkinson said that he's open to playing Spencer Dinwiddie and D’Angelo Russell together again.
"I keep telling him, ‘Don’t defer. Dominate.’ That’s my mantra to him," said Atkinson. "As a point guard, you need a certain command and a certain confidence.” The fifth-year guard raised his profile with his play a year ago, ending up as a finalist for the NBA's Most Improved Player award. He played in 80 games for the Nets, starting in 58 of them and leading the team in assists with 6.6 per game. His confidence level has changed dramatically and coach Atkinson is still considering him an integral part of his offense so don’t sleep on him on draft day.
