Spencer Dinwiddie was a key cog in Brooklyn’s furious comeback on Saturday and he remained productive from a fantasy perspective despite a 5-of-22 shooting line with 24 points, four rebounds, 10 assists, two triples and three steals.
Dinwiddie helped erase a 28-point deficit and the Pelicans had a hard time containing him late. He himself didn’t do much of the scoring, but his dribble penetration and vision to find shooters proved troublesome in the second half. Dinwiddie did go a perfect 12-for-12 from the charity stripe, so at least he was a serious positive in that department. Brooklyn stumbled upon a solid point guard for their rebuilding efforts and unearthed a middle-round fantasy player in the process. Keep Dinwiddie locked and loaded.
