Pistons forward Stanley Johnson has improved his play this preseason.
Johnson is shooting 50 percent from two and 41.7 from 3-point range this preseason. The 21-year-old is poised to make strides after a rough couple of seasons coming off the bench. He has the talent and now has the opportunity which are the ingredients for a breakout. Johnson’s mother, a former overseas pro, passed away right before his rookie season and she was a major contributor to his career. Her passing could explain the rough start for Johnson. The forward is a risky, but high upside pick in the mid-to-late rounds of your draft.
