Marc Stein reported on Saturday that 'the whispers steadily rising in volume for the past month' is that Paul George is 'strongly considering' signing a 2-3 year deal to stay with the Thunder.
Talk about some qualifiers there. George and Kawhi Leonard are the swing pieces in the NBA's balance of power right now and if George is leaning toward staying in OKC, one possible meaning for that could be that Kawhi Leonard is heading to the Lakers (with LeBron) and the Lakers don't want to auction off the entire roster for a superteam including George.
