Marc Stein expects the Thunder and Paul George to announce a max deal for two or three years shortly after midnight eastern.
To be clear, Stein said, "they would have fooled a lot of us" if no such agreement is reached. With OKC's front office set to attend a big party with Russell Westbrook (who flew eight hours back from Hawaii amidst a family vacation), Carmelo Anthony and George, it certainly looks like OKC has convinced PG to stick around. The two sides can't officially sign the deal until July 6 but that appears to be where we're headed.
