Marc Stein reported that the Golden State Warriors will make an attempt to sign DeAndre Jordan, though the Dallas Mavericks are still the front-runners to sign him.
This report is a bit strange as Stein reported that the Warriors "would require Jordan to take a deal starting at the taxpayer midlevel exception of $5.3 mil — which would cost the Warriors more like $27 mil next season [based on the projected cap hit]." The Dubbs might be feeling themselves a bit too much if they think they have a chance to sign Jordan at $5.3 million. Free agency officially starts on July 1.
