Stephen Curry shot 9-for-22 from the field and 2-for-2 from the line for 26 points with six threes, 10 rebounds, seven assists and three steals in 39 minutes on Monday.
While Curry stuffed the stat sheet, he registered an uncharacteristic minus-six on an overall +/- for the night and lost seven turnovers. He was 0-for-3 from the field with a costly turnover in the final three minutes of regulation. Curry’s 10 rebounds are a playoff career-high, but you can’t count on him to grab double-digit boards in the future. He is showing no signs of pain from his knee injury so chalk it up to an off night. Expect the MVP to bounce back in Game 2 on Wednesday.
