Steven Adams played 36 minutes in a win against the Bulls on Monday, finishing with 22 points on 11-of-14 shooting, five rebounds, two assists, one block and one turnover.
Adams was an unstoppable force as the Bulls frontcourt couldn’t handle him nor could they contain Enes Kanter. Adams has been absolutely rolling on his last four games where he’s been a top-15 value. During that span, he’s averaging 16.0 points, 7.8 boards, 1.0 steals, 2.0 blocks, while shooting 70.0% from the field and 88.9% from the stripe. The free throw shooting might not be sustainable, but he’s been great defensively all season long and the field goal percentage isn’t too much of a far cry from his norm. He’s essentially a modern-day Tyson Chandler with more of a post game and he’s only getting better.
