T.J. Leaf was a rare bright spot for the Pacers in a 96-114 loss to the visiting Blazers, as the rookie shot 7-of-11 and connected on two threes to finish with 17 points, four rebounds and an assist in just 19 minutes.
There are plenty of frontcourt minutes up for grabs while Myles Turner is out and Leaf has really done a nice job of ensuring he gets a big piece of the pie. He’s not on the standard league radar yet but has already carved out 15-plus minutes in a year where many thought he’d be on the bench for a month or two. Deep leaguers should take note.
