T.J. Warren scored 24 points in Tuesday’s win over the Blazers, adding five rebounds, three steals and two blocks.
Warren is the presumed starter at small forward for the Suns and figures to be a considerable part of their rotation this season. There is no real threat to his minutes and Suns appear committed to making him a major part of their future. He saw a boost in value last year due to a significant increase in steals and blocks, and if tonight is any indication, that was not a fluke. The threat of Josh Jackson and his mysterious head injury last year may scare some off, but Warren is a good target for owners in the middle-to-late rounds of drafts.
