T.J. Warren dodged an injury scare on Saturday and fantasy owners are thankful that he did, as he finished a road loss with 19 points on 8-of-19 shooting to go with five rebounds, four steals and a 3-pointer in 36 minutes.
Warren didn’t start the second half after sustaining a face injury but checked back in very quickly thereafter on his way to a productive afternoon. While he’s never going to be an elite fantasy asset due to the typical lack of cash counter stats, he delivered today. Warren is locked into a steady role as Phoenix’s second option on offense and should be able to stay in the top-100 all year.
