• TJ Warren
    F, Phoenix Suns

T.J. Warren made his first start of the season on Wednesday night and scored 21 points in 36 minutes.

Warren shot 8-for-16 and added a 3-pointer and a block. The Suns might have pulled the plug on Ryan Anderson starting, and while Mikal Bridges might be putting up a charge for more minutes it'd be a stunner if Warren took a big hit. He's weathered some early-season concerns and should maintain solid late-round value as an efficient scorer, with some nice upside if he can hold onto this starting spot for an extended length of time.

Fantasy News

  • Derrick Favors
    PF, New Orleans Pelicans

Derrick Favors will start on Friday when the Pelicans take on the Sixers.

It is nice to see Favors get immediately inserted into the starting lineup. You may not want to throw him out there right off the bat as he works off the rust, but hopefully the results come quickly after the long wait.

  • Jakarr Sampson
    SF, Indiana Pacers

Jakarr Sampson has been ruled out for Friday vs. the Hawks as he continues to heal from a back injury.

Sampson is an afterthought on the Pacers and does not need to be rostered in fantasy basketball.

  • Wendell Carter Jr.
    C, Chicago Bulls

Wendell Carter Jr. will play through injuries to has abdomen, tailbone and head on Friday, as the Bulls take on the Hornets.

As expected Carter is fine to play, and is just making our lives more difficult with these injury tags. It would be great if Carter made our fantasy lives easier as well and delivered something beyond his usual 10 points and 10 rebounds with little else.

  • Kris Dunn
    PG, Chicago Bulls

Kris Dunn (right knee patella tendinitis) will be out there when the Bulls take on the Hornets on Friday.

Dunn has been hot as a starter for the Bulls lately, and is a decent add for steals and a handful of guard stats at this point in standard leagues. Ryan Arcidiacono (right elbow sprain) and Denzel Valentine (left ankle) will also be available for the Bulls. Valentine has been seeing a boost in production lately, and is someone to consider picking up in 16-team leagues.

  • Rajon Rondo
    PG, Los Angeles Lakers

Frank Vogel confirmed that Rajon Rondo (left hamstring strain) will take part in the Lakers-Heat game on Friday.

Just a two game absence fro Rondo, who was looking useful in standard leagues prior to this injury. Rondo was coming on before this setback. If you have room in your roster he could be worth a pickup for the assist boost.

  • Derrick Favors
    PF, New Orleans Pelicans

According to head coach Alvin Gentry, Derrick Favors (personal) is expected to play 15-17 minutes on Friday against the Sixers.

The minutes will come from Jaxson Hayes and Jahlil Okafor. Favors made a career out of doing a lot in minimal minutes alongside Rudy Gobert in Utah, but this is only his first game back so keep your expectations in check. Still exciting to see the sleeper candidate return to the floor. It has been a rough going so far this season.

  • Zach LaVine
    PG, Chicago Bulls

Zach LaVine will play through his right shoulder strain and take the floor versus the Hornets on Friday.

LaVine should have a nice opportunity to deliver a big line against the Hornets. The injury did not slow him down on Wednesday so have confidence in deploying him on Friday.

  • Austin Rivers
    PG, Houston Rockets

Austin Rivers (illness) is listed as available for Friday's game against the Magic.

Slide him into your lineups if you have him. Rivers only missed two games due to the sickness.

  • Giannis Antetokounmpo
    PF, Milwaukee Bucks

Giannis Antetokounmpo (right quad tendon soreness) has been upgraded to probable for Friday's contest vs. the Grizzlies.

That is a good sign for Giannis taking the floor tonight. Great sign for the MVP's owners in fantasy as well.

  • Markelle Fultz
    PG, Orlando Magic

Markelle Fultz will play on Friday against the Rockets barring any setbacks prior to tip-off.

Get him in your lineup. It sounds like Fultz will not have much trouble suiting up for this one.
