Thaddeus Young scored 18 points, with six boards, two triples and a steal while Lance Stephenson added 12 points, six boards, six assists and some massive defensive plays late to help the Pacers beat the Nuggets.
Stephenson helped close the game with Darren Collison (knee) missing the game on Sunday. Young hit some big free throws late to force overtime and Stephenson drew an offensive foul against Gary Harris to ice the game in overtime. Stephenson has been a borderline bench player in 12-team 8-cat leagues over the last month and could be useful during a four game week, which the Pacers don’t have till December 25th. Young has been a top-50 and top-60 player in 9-cat and 8-cat leagues and should be able to maintain that performance all year as his minutes are up compared to last year.
