Jamal Murray scored 22 points on 7-of-12 shooting with four 3-pointers, a steal and a block.
He added zero rebounds and assists, but went a perfect 5-for-5 from the line. Murray isn’t the greatest pickpocket and his per-36 numbers suggest the same and this makes two strong outings in a row for the Blue Arrow. The Nuggets are without Paul Millsap and Nikola Jokic so if Murray weren’t able to produce value it would be more noteworthy news. He still has stat set deficiencies that have us viewing him as more of a late-round guy and will enjoy this short term boost without Jokic.
