The Toronto Raptors have announced that Pascal Siakam has been called up from the D-League.
This roster move is due to the probable suspension to Serge Ibaka. Siakam could start for the duration of the suspension since coach Dwane Casey is hesitant to witch up his rotations and likes to keep Patrick Patterson in the second unit. Although the rookie was a staple of the Raptors early season starting five, he is only averaging 15.9 minutes per game on the season. With only five games with double-digit points and a season high of nine rebounds, Siakam is better left on the wire.
