• Patrick Patterson is looking at more minutes going forward, with coach Billy Donovan saying “I think it’s important that we get him acclimated and get him in there playing.”

That bodes well for Patterson’s Saturday workload after he played just seven minutes against the Knicks. Some of that has to do with taking it slow coming off knee surgery, but a lot of it had to do with the fact that OKC rolled through New York without much trouble. Patterson himself said “we had such a great lead and the guys were doing so well (and I) had been on the bench for such a long time, there was really no need to go back in.” He should be able to play minutes in the low twenties and return deep league value for players in search of threes and rebounds.
