Tim Frazier logged 21 minutes in his preseason debut on Wednesday, racking up four points, three rebounds and nine assists in a loss to the Heat.
Frazier is recovered from a Grade 1 groin strain and looks ready to rock as John Wall’s backup. It’s a vital position for the Wizards, who need to rest their starters as much as possible before the postseason. Frazier doesn’t have tons of upside as a strict backup but you can see from tonight that he’s got enough vision and ability to function as an assists specialist in deep leagues.
