Tobias Harris led the Pistons with 22 points and a well-rounded line in a 101-105 loss to the Wizards on Monday.
Harris added five boards, two assists, two steals and three triples as well as an 8-for-17 mark from the field in this one. He played 31 minutes in the final game at The Palace of Auburn Hills, a building full of cherished memories for Pistons fans. It’s a disappointing end for the old barn as well as the team, who were expected to make a playoff run this year. Harris closes the year as a top-75 asset who doesn’t really hurt you anywhere. He’s a safe bet to retain that next year. His combo forward competition, Jon Leuer, continued his nightmare second half and played just four minutes in this one. There’s no threat to Harris currently on the roster, as he’ll be getting his own whether he starts or not.
