Toney Douglas will be active and available to play on Monday against the Pelicans.
The team just signed Douglas, so it will be interesting to see if or how many minutes the team decides to give him. If you’re in need of a low-end center, you can pick Douglas up in deeper leagues as flier pick, but Andrew Harrison is still the player to own.
Update: Coach David Fizdale says he will play Douglas right away in this video from the Memphis Commercial Appeal, but toward the later end of the video he says that Douglas will not eat into his young players’ minutes. That’s probably a bit inaccurate but it’s good news for Andrew Harrison and Wade Baldwin to start off. As usual, anything can happen with such a young and understandably mediocre group.
