The Spurs rested their entire Big 4 and also David West and still beat the Grizzlies on Monday night.
Let’s get to the winners and losers! LaMarcus Aldridge went for 31 and 13 with three assists and two blocks as he may end up being the big winner of the Spurs’ final two weeks. Kyle Anderson checked in with a career-night of 13 points on 4-of-6 shooting (including a three), three rebounds, a career-high seven assists and a career-high four steals as a top-12 play of the night.
Danny Green (six points, seven boards, two steals, two blocks) and Patty Mills (17 points, three treys, four assists) rounded out the rest of the productive plays. Boban Marjanovic (five points, nine boards, two assists, one block) was a low-end value and and Boris Diaw went for 13 & 6 with one block in the same range. Outside of Aldridge there are no safe plays on a night-to-night basis. Just gambling with ol’ Teddy KGB in San Antonio.
