Tony Parker finished with 15 points, one assist, one steal, three boards on 6-of-14 from the field and 3-of-5 from deep in Monday’s win over the Grizzlies.
After averaging just 1o ppg over the course of the regular season and disappointing fantasy owners everywhere with inconsistency Parker has turned it up a notch for the playoffs. He got 18 points on 13 shots in game one and then 15 points on Monday with 14 shots. Now that the games really matter we see the real Tony Parker come out to play. We should see more of the same unless the games are blowouts. However, due to the nature of the Spurs offense running through Kawhi Leonard and LaMarcus Aldridge we are unlikely to see a resurrection of Parker’s assist totals. He had only three in the last two games combined.
