Tony Parker would be amenable to coming off the bench when he makes his return, per Jabari Young of the San Antonio Express-News.
Parker is still targeting a late-November return date and will be getting some work in with the Spurs’ G-League affiliate in the interim. This is big news for owners who have been reaping the rewards of picking Dejounte Murray, who has impressed in his run as the starting point guard. With Parker leaving things up to the coaching staff, there’s a chance that he’ll hold onto his starting job as well as the majority of minutes. He’s going to be worth holding until we get a real sense of what Parker’s workload looks like and may be a standard league value from wire-to-wire this year.
