Trey Burke finally feels like he is coming into his own with the Knicks after dropping 42 points to the Hornets on Monday.
In 29 games this season, Burke is averaging 12.2 points and 4.0 assists over just 19 minutes of action while shooting 52 percent. After outplaying Emmanuel Mudiay and Frank Ntilikina, Burke took over the starting position for the last two games, immediately transforming into New York’s best offensive player. His defense and passing remain concerns, but this is the probably the most efficient stretch of his career. The Knicks only have two more games this week but Burke is looking like a hold after earning the starting job and proving that he deserves it.
